Boston Firefighters Battle Blaze on 25th Floor of High-Rise Under Construction

No elevator service in the fire building

BOSTON (WCVB) – Firefighters in Boston have extinguished a blaze on the 25th story of a high-rise building that’s under construction near the TD Garden sports arena.

First responders were called to the scene shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Companies had to walk up to the fire, which was on the 25th floor, because there is no elevator in service in the building. Multiple companies were working together to get hoses and gear to the fire.

According to Boston police, the building is located at 1 Nashua St., which is the location of the Avalon North Station apartment building.
