Dayton Firefighters Battle High-Rise Fire

Fire on the 10th floor of an 11-story apartment building

 

 

DAYTON (WHIO) – Dayton Fire District Chief David Wright said crews were called for a possible situation on the 11th floor of the apartment building in the 900 block of Wilmington Avenue, but found fire in an apartment on the 10th floor.

They quickly knocked down the fire and found no victims, he said.

Investigators are on scene, working to determine the cause of the fire.
