Evacuation During Atlanta High-Rise Fire

Fire on the 18th floor of The Plaza Midtown

 

 

ATLANTA – Dozens of people were evacuated from their condos after an early morning fire broke out in a high-rise in Midtown.

According to Atlanta Fire, firefighters fought flames on the eighteenth floor of The Plaza Midtown located on 950 W. Peacthree St. NW at 2:45 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they started to evacuate all residents from the building and were able to contain the fire to the balcony and to the unit where it all started.
