There is only one way to get good at stretching hose lines–get out and stretch hoselines. One skill station focuses on the minuteman load and variations, such as stretching around and between obstacles such as cars and porches and extending lines. The advantages and disadvantages of some appliances are demonstrated.
There is also a skill station on hose bundles and multiple options using hose straps, standpipe hook-up, and high-rise bundle options.
The final station centers on on vertical stretching, which covers multiple areas such as well stretching, hook stretching, and rope stretches.
Discussions include engine placement and estimating the stretch.
