FDNY Responds to Unstable Crane at Brooklyn High-Rise

Part of crane became unstable at a 31-story building

BROOKLYN, New York – The FDNY responded at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday to an unstable crane at a high-rise building on Commercial and Clay streets in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

No one was injured and buildings nearby were evacuated.

It is unknown what caused the partial collapse of the crane.
