Fire Damages Honolulu High-Rise

Victoria Towers fire is another reminder of the value of sprinklers

HONOLULU(KHON2) – Flames and smoke from an apartment fire in Punchbowl are caused damage to multiple units in Victoria Towers.

The Building, which came up in the 70’s did not have sprinklers. No injuries were reported directly related to the fire, but one person was taken to the hospital for what may have been emotional reasons according to Honolulu Fire Department Captain Scot Seguirant.

The fire started in unit 604 on the third floor of the Victoria Towers, but quickly spread. MORE
