Fire on the 14th Floor in Fresno, California

Sprinklers help contain high-rise fire

FRESNO, California – ABC30 and The Fresno Bee reported on a fire in high-rise building in downtown Fresno on Sunday.

Firefighters responded to an alarm at the Pacific Southwest building at approximately 4:00 p.m.

The fire on the 14th floor involved a storage area, according to the fire department. Sprinklers had  activated and contained the fire.

There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
