Three Hurt in Fire at Pennsylvania Seniors’ High-Rise

70 evacuated from New Kensington high-rise apartment building

NEW KENSINGTON, Pennsylvania – WPXI reports that three people were transported to a hospital after an apartment fire Wednesday.

Firefighters responded  to Parnassus Manor  at 3:20 p.m.

Firefighters found a kitchen on fire in a second-floor apartment and the hallway full of smoke.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
