San Diego Firefighters Respond to Downtown High-Rise Fire

SAN DIEGO, California -Firefighters responded to a downtown high-rise fire on Sunday, as reported by FOX5.

Firefighters found fire in an apartment on the eighth floor of the PATH Connections Housing building on 6th Avenue.

Connections Housing provides housing units, a health center, shelter beds and social services in the  building.

The fire had extended to upper floors and a second alarm was called bringing additional firefighters and firefighters from the City of Coronado.

There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
