Memphis Firefighters Battle Downtown High-Rise Fire

MEMPHIS, Tennessee –WMC reports that Memphis firefighters responded to fire in a downtown high rise.

Firefighters were dispatched to an apartment building at 99 North Main.

The fire was on the 10th floor and took about 30 minutes to bring under control.

One resident was treated for smoke inhalation and transported to the hospital.

There was no report on the cause of the fire.
