Miami Firefighters Battle Multi-Dwelling High-Rise Fire

MIAMI (WSVN) — A 151-unit high-rise was evacuated Wednesday morning after a fire tore through the building.

Officials said the fire erupted on the seventh floor of the apartment building, located at 880 NE 69 Street. Around 8:30 a.m., 40 firefighters arrived on the scene to try to put out the intense fire. Around noon, some of the City of Miami firefighters remained on the scene monitoring the charred remains.
