High-rise training in an acquired structure

Official Rapid City Fire Department – During the month of January, the RCFD conducted training on high rise operations. That training included hose deployment and advancement, standpipe operations and fire attack principles.

During the week of January 13-20, the RCFD had the opportunity to perform hands on training and drills. With the former Regional Rehabilitation Institute building due to be demolished as part of an ongoing construction project at Regional Hospital, the Regional Health organization graciously offered the RCFD the opportunity to perform a wide variety of training and drills in the building.
