No injuries during fire at Moscow’s ‘Book Building’

Ruptly TV – Firefighters extinguished a blaze that had spread through one Moscow’s iconic ‘Book Building’ high-rises on New Arbat Avenue on Tuesday.

Sergei Zheltov, Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of EMERCOM, stated that “twenty fire engines and 60 firemen were working on the fire’s liquidation and it’s been eliminated at now. No injured or dead were discovered.”

The fire broke out at 11.52 local time (08.52 GMT) on the seventh floor of the building, spreading across 200 square metres.
