Sprinklers Contain Virginia High-Rise Fire

Fire contained to a cubicle on the 11th floor

RESTON, Va. (ABC7) — Firefighters were on the scene of a two-alarm fire in a cubicle of a commercial building in Reston Sunday morning, authorities say.

Fairfax County Fire Officials say they were called to the 12000 block of Sunset Hills Road. Firefighters found the fire on the 11th floor, where officials say sprinklers had contained it to just the cubicle.

The fire is now out and no injuries have been reported at this time.

Fire crews are working to remove the smoke from the building.

The fire was first reported at around 8:12 a.m.

Fairfax County Deputy Chief Dan Shaw says they are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
