SAN FRANCISCO – CBSN Bay Area reported that a three-alarm fire in San Francisco’s Financial District at a residential high-rise sent dozens of occupants fleeing down fire escapes.
At least five people were injured.

The fire department tweeted that the was fire was contained at around 4:15 a.m. Dozens of residents were in the predawn cold on the streets below the high rise located at 440 Davis Court.
The fire was contained to two floors, but 23 units were deemed uninhabitable.
The American Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire.
