ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – WQAD reports that firefighters responded to a high-rise apartment fire in downtown Rock Island on January 18.
The fire injured three occupants and caused hundreds of to be evacuated or sheltered in place.
The fire began at approximately 3:00 p.m. on the 6th floor of Spencer Towers.
