Tulsa Firefighters Battle High-Rise Fire

Fire on 11th floor of residential high-rise

TULSA (KJRH) – No injuries were reported at a fire at University Club Tower.

The tower is located at 1720 S. Carson and it is the eighth tallest building in Tulsa.

The fire happened on the west side of the building on the eleventh floor.

Firefighters said the resident was able to get out of his apartment safely once he realized it was on fire.

They believe it started on the balcony of the apartment and moved inside. Fire crews have not determined an exact cause.
