SoCal Code 3 – Downtown Vehicle Fire in Underground Parking Structure

Date/Time: 5/12/2018 – 10:50pm City: San Diego Location: 15th St. & Market St. (Downtown)

Incident Details: A vehicle fire in a downtown high rise underground parking structure was to blame for residents having to be evacuated Saturday night. The fire caused smoke to fill up 2 levels of the underground parking structure.

Firefighters managed to ventilate the smoke with blowers as residents were forced to stand on the street.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire to the vehicle is unknown.
